Grady was a National Honor Society Member who graduated 8th in a graduating class of 114. He was a multi-sport athlete and participated in a number of organizations and clubs within the CF School District and surrounding school community. 

Coach Jim Bender stated, "Grady is highly regarded by his peers having been selected as team captain for his football team." Coach Bender went on to say, "What also impresses me about Grady is the fact that he has been successful in all areas of his life despite numerous physical injuries that could have easily derailed him had it not been for his steadfast determination to persevere despite the challenges."

Athletic Director Dave Hogan had this to say about Grady; "In addition to being an outstanding athlete, Grady is an excellent student and is involved in activities away from athletics. Furthermore, Grady was the recipient of the Alfred University Scholar Award, The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Medal Award, and the Frank G. Paul Medal of Excellence in Math and Science.

Grady will be attending Penn State in the fall.
